The Eisenhower Expressway reopened about 10:43 p.m. Wednesday night after Illinois State Police investigated a report of a shooting.
The outbound Ike was shut down from the Loop to Ashland Avenue, police said.
A man got home and noticed a bullet hole in his car around 9 p.m. and reported it to the police, authorities said.
Police said there were no injuries.
