One person was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon in south suburban Country Club Hills, police said in a news release.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Pulaski Road and 167th Street just after 2:30 p.m. Police officers who responded to the scene and found a vehicle that had blood in the driver's seat. Witnesses told police that a man had taken the victim way.
The victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to the neck, was taken to Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, and was expected to be transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The victim's identify hadn't been released as of Mondday evening.
