A Lake County Sheriff’s officer was injured in a crash in northwest Indiana Friday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, the police-involved crash took place near the intersection of Columbia and Gostlin in Hammond.
One officer was injured in the crash.
Images from the scene indicate the crash involved a marked trooper car and a white pickup truck.
Lake County officials say the officer is listed in stable condition, but it was not immediately clear if there were any other injuries.
Police said the Lake County Sheriff’s Department CSI is investigating.
