Northbound I-294 lanes were closed at Cicero Avenue Tuesday after a multi-vehicle crash injured at least one person, according to the Illinois State Police.
A “commercial motor vehicle failed to slow” and rear-ended a Dodge Charger, state police said. The Charger then struck another vehicle, according to police.
The person driving the Charger suffered injuries considered life-threatening, state police said, and was taken to an area hospital.
The crash was under investigation.
