Jackknifed Semi Spills Fuel, Blocks Interstate Traffic

Crash happened at about 3:45 a.m. on outbound I-90 at Addison Street

A jackknifed semi closed all but one lanes of northbound Interstate 90 for about two hours Tuesday morning.

The single-vehicle accident occurred about 3:45 a.m. on outbound I-90 at Addison Street, according to an Illinois State Police spokesman. The driver of the semi sustained "non life-threatening" injuries.

All but one lane of northbound I-90 was closed until about 6:10 a.m. as crews worked to clean a fuel leak from the vehicle.

Illinois State Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
