The Secret Service is now investigating after a hazardous materials situation Tuesday at Chicago’s Trump Tower.

Police said they were called to the 400 block of North Wabash Avenue just after 10 a.m. for a “suspicious substance received in a letter.”

Police and fire officials responded to the scene.

By 2 p.m., Chicago police said the Secret Service had taken over the investigation.

The Secret Service could not immediately be reached for comment on the investigation. Details on what substance was inside the letter weren’t immediately released.
