A suspect in connection to the ongoing investigation regarding two missing teens in Indiana will face murder charges in connection with the case, authorities confirmed Sunday.

Prosecutors say that a 17-year-old will face two counts of murder on Monday morning in an Indiana courtroom. No further details were revealed, but authorities did say that the charges stem from the case of the missing Indiana teens.

Porter County Detectives say they have been following up on several leads regarding 19-year-old Molley Lanham of St. John, and 18-year-old Thomas Grill of Cedar Lake after they were reported missing last week. Family members say they last talked to the teens on Monday.

Authorities say they found a burned out car on Saturday that matched the description of the vehicle the teens were last seen in.

According to the release, Porter County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, Porter County Sheriff’s Office C.S.I. and Valparaiso Police Department C.S.I., are currently working with the St. John and Cedar Lake Police Departments on the case.

The investigation was ongoing.
