Twitter Goes Crazy for Blackhawks' Accountant-Turned-Goalie

Scott Foster was undeniably the star of Thursday night's Blackhawks game - even though it was the first time he had ever played professional hockey in his life.

After injuries forced Anton Forsberg and Collin Delia out of the match against the Winnipeg Jets, Foster signed an Amateur Try-Out contract and became Chicago's emergency goalie.

The 36-year-old accountant from Oak Park took the ice - and then stopped all seven shots he faced in the final 14 minutes of the Blackhawks' 6-2 victory.

And it wasn't just the thousands of fans at the United Center cheering Foster on. Countless others on Twitter chimed in with their shock, awe and utter delight as Foster emerged as the breakout star of the night. [[478389043, C]]
