Good news for “Saved by the Bell” fans who have always wanted to hang with their pals at “The Max” – you could soon be able to in Chicago.
A “Saved by the Bell” parody pop-up bar and diner is apparently coming to Wicker Park this summer.
“Saved by the Max,” which will replicate the go-to hangout for Bayside High students, will feature a full kitchen and bar with Bayside-inspired cocktails and food. The menu will include things like AC Sliders, Preppy BLT, Macaroni & Screech, Belding Fries and a Lisa Turtle Milkshake.
The exact location of the diner has not yet been announced, but organizers say it will run throughout the month of June, according to a Facebook page dedicated to pop-up shop.
"Were really excited about the initial reaction for this pop up, and yes it's a real thing," the shop's creators told NBC Chicago in a statement. "As huge Saved By The Bell fans, we promise to deliver the most fun month of SBTB tributes that principle [sic] Belding would be proud of."
The pop-up is not affiliated with NBC Productions or Rusher Entertainment.
