Updated Funeral Plans Announced for Rocky Clark

Former Eisenhower High School football player who became paralyzed 1 years ago then battled sickness and a lapse in his insurance died last Thursday

Family and friends of Rasul "Rocky" Clark have announced updated funeral arrangements.

The services will begin with a wake on Friday, Jan. 13, at AR Leak and Sons Funeral Home, at 18400 South Pulaski in Country Club Hills, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to a website dedicated to him.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14 at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, at 3620 W. 139th St. in Robbins. Doors open at 9 a.m. with the service beginning at 10 a.m.

The family is inviting the public to attend Clark's burial service immediately following the church service at the Burr Oak Cemetery beginning at 11 a.m. to noon.

Clark, a former Eisenhower High School football player who became paralyzed 11 years ago then battled sickness and a lapse in his insurance died last Thursday.
