Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez was leaving the arena after the team lost to the Toronto Raptors in their season opening game when he found something interesting on the floor of the locker room.
The center found a photo of pop sensation Britney Spears, and instead of just picking it up and turning it into arena security, he decided to give the picture a new home: his locker.
On Friday, Lopez posted a photo of the photo, with the caption “Britney will always be looking out for us guys”:
The new photo seemed to bring some good mojo to the Bulls’ locker room, as they knocked off the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night for their first victory of the season.
When asked about the photo after the game, Lopez was very direct in why he rescued it from the oblivion of the locker room floor.
“Got to take care, especially for Britney,” Lopez said. “You’ve got to respect Britney.”
