In a very strange home burglary, three robbers got away, and the victims were the ones caught with their pants down.
According to police, at least three masked men with guns broken into a Park Manor home just after 1 a.m. Thursday. But instead of telling the 11 people inside to empty their pockets, the gunmen ordered them to take off their pants.
Cue the adult-film cheesy music.
Police suspect that the strange demand made it easier for the robbers to steal wallets and prevented the victims from chasing the criminals later.
One of the thieves shot a 33-year-old man in the leg as they left. The victim was hospitalized and is expected to survive.
The masked men took off with several television sets as well as the pants.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating the incident, which they say may be drug-related -- ain't that a kick in the pants.
