Lincoln Yards Development Announces Huge Entertainment District

“We are thrilled to be executing on such a unique project,” Sterling Bay Managing Principal Andy Gloor said. “Chicago already has a reputation as an entertainment hub and we are excited for the community to have easy access to a wide variety of new events with some of the biggest names in music.”

The entertainment district is part of a development designed to help lure Amazon’s second headquarters to Chicago, and also includes plans for a 20,000 seat soccer stadium, which will house a United Soccer League team owned by Chicago Cubs owner Tom Ricketts.

The Lincoln Yards development will also feature hotels and restaurants, along with a large park and an expansion of the 606 trail.
