Rainy, Cold Friday Turns into Soggy Chicago Weekend

Saturday temperatures are expected be in the mid-to-upper 60s with scattered showers

Grab a warm coat and umbrella. Friday’s rainy day kicks off a soggy weekend.

Friday saw periods of light rain and a few thunderstorms, as well as windy and unseasonably cold conditions. Scattered showers are expected to return Saturday and an isolated thunderstorm remains possible.

The good news is conditions are expected to warm up Saturday afternoon with temps in the mid-to-upper 60s but cooler along the lakefront. Sunday becomes much more pleasant with seasonable temps in the upper 60s, though showers are possible in far southern counties and northwest Indiana.

Spring slowly returns next week as highs reach the low 70s inland and 60s along the lake. The sunny, mild trend continues Tuesday with more high temps in the low-to-mid 70s.

Thankfully for your spring wardrobe, those temperatures are expected to continue through Thursday.
