Quinn Does Blago Purge

Now the question is: Whom will he keep?

The purge has begun. After promising to "fumigate" state government, Gov. Quinn has wasted no time ridding his administration of holdovers from former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's regime. Gone so far are former Deputy Gov. Louanner Peters, acting head of the Department of Natural Resources Kurt Granberg and chief Blagojevich spokesman Lucio Guerrero.

With more pink slips sure to be coming, here's a look at some figures from the Blagojevich administration who were an integral part of his brain trust or who became lightning rods for controversy. Of these, some are likely on the way out, others appear to be on the bubble, and a few seem poised to overcome the Blagojevich taint and remain employed under Quinn.

The Chicago Sun-Times runs down who may stay and who may be shown the door.
