A plane headed from Chicago to Rome was diverted to JFK Airport in New York Friday due to a possible mechanical issue, an airline spokesperson said.
American Airlines flight 110 was flying from O’Hare and was expected to land at JFK by around 9 p.m. Passengers and crew will switch to another plane and continue to Rome, the spokesperson said.
No other details were immediately available.
