Animal control officials are responding Friday afternoon to a call of an alligator found in a lagoon in the city's Marquette Park neighborhood.
Chicago Animal Care and Control said the alligator was spotted at the Marquette Park Lagoon, based on a 9-1-1 call.
Officers are headed to the park to verify the information.
