Customers can order through both Portillo’s and DoorDash’s respective websites or mobile apps. Portillo’s website also features a search function to find the nearest restaurant delivering to your area.
All Portillo’s locations in seven states across the country are participating, with a few exceptions.
Delivery is not currently available from the restaurants in Normal and Rockford, Illinois, as well as in Merrillville, Indiana, but the company’s CEO Keith Kinsey told the Chicago Tribune that it will be available at all three next year. [[421993213, C]]
The service costs a flat rate delivery fee of $5 and orders must be a minimum of $15.
Portillo’s announcement comes six months after the company began testing delivery with another online ordering service, GrubHub, at its River North location in May.
