Porn Star Battles Lawsuit in DuPage Court

Porn star Jenna Jameson fights back after she was sued by the owner of two local theaters for breaching a contract

Lawyers for porn star Jenna Jameson will appear before a judge in DuPage County Court Thursday to defend allegations that she ditched an appearance at two suburban theaters.

Jenna Jameson has been sued by Ted Bulthaup III, the owner of Hollywood Palms Cinema in Naperville and the Hollywood Boulevard Cinema in Woodridge, for failing to appear March 24-26 to promote her book, "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star."

Bulthaup said Jameson's agent sent him "a vague doctor's note" saying she had a medical emergency and could not attend the scheduled appearance.

In the lawsuit, Bulthaup claims he later found out that "on the very evening she was supposed to be at Hollywood's theaters, she attended 'Perez Blue Ball,' a birthday party in California for blogger Perez Hilton.

But lawyers for Jameson tell a different story and claim the theaters breached the agreement because they tried to extort and blackmail Jameson for money.

Bulthaup denies those allegations and seeks to obtain more than $50,000 from the porn star.

Last week, the judge in charge of the case entered an order of default against the actress after she did not appear in court or send an attorney on her behalf.
