People say, "Two wrongs don't make a right." That is especially true on the road.
Raymond A. Dryier of Lockport drunkenly drove his car the wrong way on a busy highway while texting on his cell phone, police told the Naperville Sun.
Early Thursday, an officer on patrol spotted Dryier.
He was hard to miss.
"What really drew [the officer's] attention to this guy was that he was [driving] northbound in the southbound lanes of Route 59 for 20 or 30 feet," Police Sgt. Greg Bell said, reports the Naperville Sun.
If that weren't bad enough, Dryier's car stumbled over the median strip, police said.
The officer managed to pull the 40-year-old wayward driver over after about 500 feet.

"As the officer approached [Dryier] in his vehicle, he found the driver was texting on his phone," Bell told the Naperville Sun.
Maybe he was texting a good lawyer.
Dryier faces trial on charges of driving under the influence, wrong-way driving, driving in the wrong lane of traffic, operation of a vehicle while texting, disobeying a traffic control device, and driving over the raised median in a roadway.
