Michigan Avenue Now Reopened

The Northbound lanes of Michigan Ave. were closed near Millennium Park early Wednesday morning.

A suspicious box prompted a bomb scare that closed the lanes. It was later discovered that the box was filled with the clothing of a homeless man, reports The Chicago Tribune.

Lanes were closed by police around 2:30 a.m. while the Bomb and Arson unit investigated the suspicious box that was found near the Chicago Cultrual Center at 110 N. Michigan Ave.

The lanes were reopened just before 5 a.m.
