Chicago Cubs reliever Pedro Strop is known for his wicked pitches and his trademark hat tilt, but apparently baseball skill runs in his family.
In a video posted to Instagram, Strop showed off his son’s batting talents, as the prodigious youngster is seen ripping a triple into the gap during a practice:
Lest you think that Strop’s son somehow got that hitting talent from another relative, the reliever himself has shown an ability to hit the ball hard, like the time he took Anthony Rizzo deep in between playoff games last fall:
In two career at-bats, Strop is 0-for-2. He had one at-bat each during the 2016 and 2017 seasons for the Cubs.
