The appearance will be Kane's eighth in the annual game

Only one member of the Chicago Blackhawks will represent the team at this year’s NHL All-Star Game, as forward Patrick Kane will make his eighth appearance in the annual game.

Kane, who is currently just outside the top 10 in the league in goals and is currently eighth in the league in points, will join the rest of the Central Division All-Stars at the game in San Jose later this month, the league announced on Wednesday evening.

Here is the full Central Division squad:

Patrick Kane – CHI

Nathan MacKinnon – COL

Ryan O’Reilly – STL

Mikko Rantanen – COL

Mark Scheifele – WPG

Blake Wheeler – WPG

Miro Heiskanen – DAL

Roman Josi – NSH

Devan Dubnyk – MIN

Pekka Rinne – NSH

Each of the four divisions will get one more All-Star by virtue of a “last man in” vote that will be conducted as part of the lead-up to the game. The game will be played on Jan. 26, and will be televised on NBC.
