If you’ve ever wanted to drive a Zamboni, now is your chance.
The Chicago Blackhawks’ community ice rink is looking for a part-time Zamboni driver.
The position for an “Ice Technician” seeks someone to perform “all tasks pertaining to ice maintenance and related equipment including safely operating the Zamboni at the Chicago Blackhawks Community Ice Arena.”
Requirements include someone who has customer service skills, an ability to recognize unsafe situations, good communication skills, is mechanically inclined and can work flexible hours.
They must have a high school degree, be able to lift 75 pounds and be willing to learn the equipment, policies and procedures.
