All outbound lanes on the Dan Ryan Expressway were briefly blocked at 95th Street because of a crash, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The crash caused back-ups all the way to the Chicago Skyway exit ramp, according to the department. Traffic is once again moving after lanes were cleared around 4:30 p.m., but congestion is expected throughout the evening rush hour.
The crash occurred just before the end of the expressway, which splits into the Bishop Ford Freeway and Interstate 57 near 95th Street.
