Few things are more iconic than Chicago's very own Bill Murray and his legendary film "Caddyshack," and fans of both will be in for a treat this winter.
According to a press release, the Murray Brothers Caddyshack Restaurant will open in Rosemont by December.
The company signed an agreement to lease 8,600-square feet of space at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Chicago suburb, and it will be the centerpiece restaurant at the facility.
"In planning for Murray Bros. Caddyshack, we wanted to create a restaurant that captures our family's love for the game and present it in a way that appeals to everyday golfers and families," Murray said.
The restaurant will include numerous TVs, an oblong-shaped bar, and a Golf Simulation Experience, according to the press release.
The brothers -- Bill, Andy, Ed, Brian, Joel and John -- opened the first location of the restaurant in 2001 at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.
"Designed to look and feel like a country club gone awry, the restaurant combines the brothers' sense of irreverence with their love of golf," the restaurant is described on its website.
