Olympia Fields police and firefighters are engaged in a water search near a hospital.
Rescue workers have entered the water near St. James Hospital, located in the 20200 block of Crawford Avenue in the southern suburb.
Details on what authorities were searching for remained unclear but video footage from the scene showed what appeared to be a hole in the ice. Authorities were seen wading in the water just off the shoreline.
It is not known at this time who the searchers are looking for.
