Thorson was picked late in the fifth round of Saturday's draft

Northwestern quarterback Clayton Thorson had to wait until the third day of the NFL Draft to find out where he would be heading, but he was finally picked with the 29th pick in the fifth round.

Thorson, who threw for 3,183 yards and 17 touchdowns in his final season in Evanston, was picked by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round of the draft.
