The Chicago Cubs will kick off their home schedule on Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and fans will be astonished with the amount of work that has been done around the stadium. 

A new hotel dominates the Wrigleyville skyline, and numerous new additions have been made to the ballpark itself, as Wrigley Field is beginning to catch up with newer venues in terms of its offerings. 

Here is some of what you can look forward to around the ballpark this season: 

Hotel Zachary 

Located to the west of the ballpark, the Hotel Zachary features nearly 175 rooms and will also feature an underground parking lot, which will reportedly cost a cool $65 to park in during special events, including baseball games. 

Rooms at the hotel can be booked now, but prepare to shell out some serious cash, as the rates will routinely run for at least $300 or more per night. 

New Food Options at Wrigley 

Several new concession stands will be present at Wrigley, along with returning favorites like Giordano's Pizza and Hot Doug's.

The ballpark will also feature a plethora of new food otpions, including aged cheddar burgers, a Polk Street Breaded Pork Shoulder, and much more. 

New Club Underneath Wrigley Field 

A brand new club called the American Airlines 1914 Club, located just behind home plate, will be ready in time for the home opener, but don't expect to get in cheap. Ticket prices for the club START at $400, but do include all taxes, food, and drinks. 

More clubs will also be constructed at the park, but only the 1914 Club will be ready for the season's first game.

New McDonald's 

For fans who miss the old McDonald's near the ballpark, we have some great news: it's back. 

Well, sort of. 

The new McDonald's is located in the Hotel Zachary complex, but it is open to the public for the home opener, so at least you'll have that to look forward to!
