The 1,893 free Centennial Wheel rides set for Thursday at Chicago's Navy Pier have been postponed due to weather.
The rides, which were designed to commemorate the world's first Ferris wheel, will be held on a future date.
Riders with complimentary tickets to ride the wheel will be able to use those tickets on the rescheduled date.
The number 1,893 is significant because the world's first Ferris wheel debuted in 1893 at the World's Fair in Chicago.
Other famous Ferris wheels in the country, like the one at the Santa Monica Pier in California, will also be putting on events to celebrate with the popular ride.
Those with questions on the rescheduled date can call Navy Pier Guest Services at 312-595-7437.
