An Indiana man died Sunday after he was Tasered by authorities in south suburban Thornton Sunday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Mark A. Koves, 28, of Crown Point, Ind., died at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights at 5:44 p.m, according to the medical examiner’s office.

According to a Thornton Police Department press release, officers responded to a call of a naked man in the street near the pavilion of Hubbard Park by Wolcott School.
