Fire crews are on the scene of a blaze Sunday morning in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.
Bolingbrook Fire Lt. James Coughlin confirmed as of 6:50 a.m. that crews were responding to a structure fire at 505 Preston Drive in Bolingbrook.
According to unconfirmed dispatch reports, a fire at an apartment building at 505 Preston Drive has been raised to a 2-11 alarm and there are reports of a possible entrapment.
ChicagoBreakingNews reports that a dozen people suffered smoke inhalation in the fire, which was out by 8 a.m. Six people were taken to hospitals, and six were treated at the scene, an official told WGN-TV.
