A motorcycle crash on the outbound Eisenhower claimed the life of one man early Saturday morning.
The Cook County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Christopher R. Shelhamer, 31, of 400 E. Illinois St in west suburban Wheaton
The accident involved a motorcycle and one other vehicle on westbound I-290 near Kostner Ave at around 8:42 a.m., Illinois State Police confirmed.
All lanes of the outbound Eisenhower were temporarily closed and traffic was redirected to Kostner Ave until lanes reopened shortly after 1 p.m.
Police continue to investigate.
