1 Person Injured in NW Side House Fire

One person was injured after a fire in the city’s Montclare neighborhood on the Northwest Side Thursday night.

According to the Chicago Fire Department, the fire broke out in a home in the 2800 block of North New England on Thursday evening, and firefighters were quickly dispatched to the scene to battle the blaze.

One person was taken to an area hospital for evaluation, and there were no other injuries reported.

The fire has been extinguished, and officials are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
