Contreras to bat ninth for NL; Abreu hits 8th for AL

Chicago Cubs superstar Javier Baez will have a very important role for the National League All-Stars in Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game.

For Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu, he will have to wait just a little bit longer to take his turn at the plate. Abreu, who was elected a starter in the fan vote, will bat eighth, hitting between Manny Machado and Salvador Perez
