A 19-year-old man who was reported missing by his family Saturday afternoon in Lemont was found safe, officials say.
Police said Luke Pawlak, 19, was located safe on a train after last seen about noon Friday at his home in the southwest suburb.
The teen's family said he was on a train to San Diego and police confirmed he boarded a train at Union Station.
He was last seen wearing a navy blue winter coat, black pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt that says “Keystone” in orange.
His phone seemed to have been turned off, and his family said they were worried.
