Brewers Move Into First-Place Tie With Cubs

The Milwaukee Brewers knocked off the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night, moving into a first place tie with the Chicago Cubs atop the National League Central standings.

Christian Yelich blasted two home runs in the game, including a seventh inning shot that gave the Brewers the lead. Erik Kratz also drove in a pair of runs, and the Brewers' bullpen held on for the victory.

With the win, the Cubs and Brewers will enter the season's final day in a deadlock for the division lead. If both teams finish tied at the end of the season, they will play in a one-game playoff at Wrigley Field on Monday afternoon. The winner of that game would move on to the National League Division Series, while the loser would host the National League Wild Card Game on Tuesday night.
