Millennium Park Summer Film Series: 2016 Schedule Released

Grab a blanket and a folding chair -- the popular downtown Summer Film Series is returning to Millennium Park.

Kicking off June 21, Tuesday summer nights will once again feature movies at the park, including “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Finding Nemo,” and “Grease.”

For the first time, Chicagoans will be able to vote for the final film shown on Aug. 30. There will also be a double feature on July 19.

All films are free and start at 6:30 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavillion, 201 E. Randolph St., according to the city.

Guests can watch the films from the Jay Pritzker Pavillion or on the Great Lawn. Seating at the pavilion is first-come, first-served.
