Midwestern State Tops ‘Best Places to Find a Job in 2018' List

The financial site compared over 180 U.S. cities based on 26 key indicators that helped calculate top places for job hunters

A city in Wisconsin ranks No. 9 on a recent list that reports the top places to find a job across the nation in 2018, according to WalletHub.

The financial site compared over 180 U.S. cities based on 26 key indicators that helped calculate top places for job hunters.

“They range from job opportunities to employment growth to monthly average starting salary,” said the WalletHub site.

With metrics being graded on a 100-point scale, Madison, Wisconsin, marked a total of 62.44 points out of 100.

Each city’s weighted average was determined across all metrics to calculate its score, and researchers used the resulting scores to rank the order of the sample.

The study also included Arizona, California and Texas to the top of the list.
