Mexican Billionaire Lists Ritz-Carlton Condo for $8M

A mining billionaire has reportedly listed his condominium at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Chicago for $8 million.
Crain's Chicago Business reports the condo is owned by German Larrea Mota-Velasco of Grupo Mexico, Mexico's largest copper mining company. According to Forbes, his family is worth $14.2 billion.
According to the listing, the "completely custom" three-bedroom, three-bathroom residence takes up half a floor on the building and offers "sweeping south, east and west views of the city." It features a den with custom built-ins housing a subzero wine cooler and ice makers, an entertainment area, and a kitchen with a six-burner dual oven range.
