The Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs will both be in Houston this weekend for games, and the mayors of the two cities have made a friendly wager on the outcomes of those contests.

The Cubs will begin a three-game series against the Astros on Friday at Minute Maid Park, while the Bears will tangle with the Texans on Sunday afternoon in the season opening game for both teams.

With four games on the docket between the two cities, Sylvester Turner, the mayor of Houston, offered to make a bet with the office of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and naturally, the stakes were food related:

To recap: each game between the Cubs and Astros will be worth one point in the wager, while the game between the Bears and Texans will be worth two points.

The city that gets the majority of the points in the bet will win, and the prize will certainly be a delicious one, as Chicago-style deep dish pizza would head to Houston in the event of a Texas triumph, and beef brisket would head northward in the event of a Windy City win.
