Man Exposed Himself to Child in West Garfield Park: Police

The man allegedly engaged the child in conversation before exposing himself, police said

Chicago police are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself and touched his genitals during a conversation with a child in Chicago’s West Garfield Park neighborhood last month.

According to authorities, the child was walking in the 4600 block of West Harrison Avenue on Sept. 24 at approximately 7:50 a.m. when a man pulled up alongside them in a silver sedan.

The man allegedly engaged the victim in conversation, then exposed his genitals and touched himself, police said.

The child was able to take a picture of the man before he drove away.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his 20s or early 30s. His height and weight are unknown, and he was wearing a red sweater.
