Person Dies After Being Stabbed at CTA Red Line Station

A person stabbed Sunday afternoon at a CTA Red Line station on Chicago's Far South Side has died, according to police.

The incident occurred at the 95th St. station, located in the 0-100 block of W. 95th St. in the city's Princeton Park neighborhood, authorities said.

The male was stabbed in the abdomen during an argument in front of the turnstile at the train station at around 12:37 p.m., according to Chicago police.

The victim was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 2:36 p.m. 

The attacker fled the scene, according to police.

No one is in custody in connection with the incident as authorities continue to investigate.
