A former Illinois state driver's license examiner convicted of sexual misconduct involving teenager girls during their road tests has been ordered to spend four years in prison.
Nathaniel Hopkins, 39, of Herrin was sentenced Thursday in Williamson County.
A jury convicted him in December of two counts each of criminal sexual abuse and official misconduct, and one count of disorderly conduct.
Authorities allege he inappropriately touched one 16-year-old girl and made inappropriate comments to another while working for the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles.
The judge told Hopkins he appears to have a personality disorder because he fails to admit doing anything wrong.
Hopkins must register as a sex offender.
