Man Removed From Plane at O'Hare Airport After Bomb Threat Reported

A man was taken off a plane at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport by police Friday after a bomb threat was reported on the busiest air travel day of the holiday weekend, authorities said.

Chicago police officers were called to the airport just before 2 p.m. for a report of a bomb threat.

Airport officials said passengers were evacuated from the area and the department's bomb and arson team "cleared the situation."
