A 50-year-old man is in critical condition after he fell off a jet ski in the 59th Street Harbor on Saturday.
The man, who was riding the watercraft while partying according to the Chicago Fire Department, was submerged for over 15 minutes before he was pulled from the water in the 59th Street Harbor by rescue workers.
The man was rushed to the University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition.
After the incident, Chicago fire officials warned the public to wear life jackets while using jet skis, as the victim was not wearing flotation gear at the time of the incident.
