Chicago Police are searching for the killer of a man shot on the Northwest Side late Thursday.
The shooting happened at a Citgo gas station in the 6000 block of West Diversey Ave. in the Belmont Central neighborhood before 10:45pm Thursday, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.
A male shooter walked up to a red Grand Jeep Cherokee and opened fire. The bullets shattered the driver's side window and pierced a man's chest and neck, said police.
The 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at Illinois Masonic Medical Center at 11:38 p.m., said police.
Detectives are investigating.
