2 Men Killed, 3 Injured in Shooting on Chicago's Southwest Side

The shooting happened at approximately 5:50 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Paulina Street

Two men were killed, and three others were injured in a shooting on Saturday evening on Chicago's Southwest side, police said.

The shooting happened at approximately 5:50 p.m. outside a home in the 7100 block of South Paulina Street in the West Englewood neighborhood.

Police said multiple people were on a front porch when they "heard gunshots and felt pain."

A 32-year-old man man was shot in the chest and thigh, and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. A 26-year-old man, who was shot in the chest, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he died.

A 25-year-old woman was transported to St. Bernard Hospital in critical condition, and planned to be transferred to Stroger Hospital. A 27-year-old man was shot in the arm, and went to the hospital in stable condition, police said. 

In addition, a 38-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the lower back, and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in stable condition.

No arrests had been made as of Saturday evening. Witnesses told police a dark-colored vehicle was spotted fleeing the scene.
