A 22-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting happened at 5:09 p.m. in the 1700 block of West 46th Street, according to Chicago Police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:50 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His name was withheld pending notification of his family.
The circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately known.
