A man was grazed by a bullet while riding a CTA train on the South Side Saturday evening, according to Chicago police

A man was grazed by a bullet while riding a CTA train on the South Side Saturday evening, according to Chicago police.

Just after 6 p.m., a 23-year-old man was sitting on a Green Line train near the West Woodlawn neighborhood when a physical altercation occurred, authorities said.

Police said the train was traveling in the 400 block of East 63rd Street when someone opened fire, grazing the man in the right eye and right hand.

According to officials, the victim was transported to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

According to Chicago police, no one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
